Booking & Service Detail FAQs
Do you offer discounts for multiple pets?
Yes. Each additional pet from the same household is +40% of the base rate, up to 2 additional pets. This ensures every animal in your home receives the same attentive, individualized care.
What are the after-hours, weekend, and holiday rates?
A +15% premium applies to any service booked before 8am, after 6pm, on weekends, or during recognized holiday periods. This reflects the dedicated care provided outside standard weekday hours.
Which holiday dates carry the +15% premium?
Holiday pricing applies across the following 2026 windows:
- New Year’s: Thu, Jan 1 – Sun, Jan 4
- Family Day: Fri, Feb 13 – Mon, Feb 16
- Easter: Fri, Apr 3 – Sun, Apr 5
- Victoria Day: Fri, May 15 – Mon, May 18
- Canada Day: Wed, Jul 1
- Civic Holiday: Fri, Jul 31 – Mon, Aug 3
- Labour Day: Fri, Sep 4 – Mon, Sep 7
- Thanksgiving: Fri, Oct 9 – Mon, Oct 12
- Christmas / New Year’s: Fri, Dec 18 – Thu, Dec 31
Long weekends begin on the Friday of the holiday and end on the Sunday before the next business day.
What's your deposit policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all Day Retreats and Overnight Staycations. For prepaid packages, the deposit is collected at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due before the first day of service.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start time of a booking are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. This protects the time set aside for your pet and allows me to honour commitments to other families.
How do package discounts work?
Prepaid packages of 10 or more visits and consecutive overnight stays of 5 or more nights both unlock a 10% discount off the base rate. Pre-paid packages also waive after-hours and weekend premiums (holiday premiums still apply). Consecutive overnight packages also waive after-hours and weekend premiums, with holiday premiums still applicable.
All package discounts must be used within the same calendar year as the purchase.
Are pickup and drop-off included?
Pickup and drop-off are available as an add-on service and are not included in the base rate. Please request when booking so I can confirm timing and pricing for your location.
What payment terms apply to packages?
